Finally got my professionally recorded CD of the Basta Marimba Concerto I performed with the York Youth Symphony Orchestra! Studio 117 did a fantastic job of capturing the sound of my trusty Malletech marimba and the Encore latex mallets helped my marimba sing!

The marimba concerto was a success! Thank you to York Youth Symphony Orchestra! You all sounded wonderful. Thank you to all who came out to watch the concert. It is an extremely difficult piece. A huge thank you to Brian Buterbaugh (music director and conductor) for taking this piece on with his orchestra! the concert was professionally recorded so I can’t wait to get my cd recording!

Come watch me play the Basta "Concerto for Marimba and Orchestra" with the York Youth Symphony Orchestra. It is a fantastic piece of 20th century classical music which shows the musicality and virtuosity of the marimba as a solo instrument. Should be a good concert!
