341 days since transplant! Thank you God for every single day that we are able to spend together. Cruz is officially done with 2nd grade and has been cleared to return to Glen Acres Elementary as a 3rd grader in the fall!! He is playing up on a 9u travel baseball program, Team Phenom. (I will have to post some videos soon.) He is getting stronger everyday. He goes to the doctor every 3 months for check-ups, and this afternoon will serve as his 1 year post-transplant check-up. Please pray that all his tests are clean and show that his immune system keeps getting stronger! Thank you. xoxo
Please say a little prayer for Cruz this afternoon. He is having the fluid drained around his heart because it is slowly getting larger. They will then take a biopsy to try and figure out what is causing it. I will update everyone as soon as we know more. Thanks so much everyone!
In the words of Cruz, "the beast is back!"
