The definition of strength. March 21st is National Single Parents Day, and honors the mothers and fathers holding down the fort with all the hard work, devotion, and sacrifices involved in single parenting. Being a parent is no easy task, and it takes an absolute superhero to do it alone.

I talk a lot on here about my entire Swaddlou start-up journey, and so I wanted to share what’s happened over the past two weeks for anyone invested in the story.

is a new mom and super funny and talented host for E! News…including the Snapchat series “The Rundown” for E!  She found Swaddlou after an intense Google search, because nothing was working for her sweet little daughter, Saylor…and fell in love with the product.

She made a reel with Say in the Swaddlou, and that’s how I found out she was using my product.  On Thursday, Erin was so kind and talked about the Swaddlou in her Instagram story, and as you can imagine, I had a record number of sales this weekend.  Erin made it clear that she was talking from her heart, and it was so authentic.  Which leads me to my next thought…

To my core, I believe the future of marketing to millennials, gen-z , and beyond is organic growth through storytelling.  If you have a top-notch product that truly solves a problem, it will rise to the top, and customers will want to talk about it.  The marketing side is that you need to find a way to effectively tell the stories of the people who love it (and there is a skill to this)….but I really, really believe (& hope) that paid/targeted ads are going to be used less and less moving forward.

So, even though I don’t have the funding for paid ads, I think that’s okay (maybe even for the best)…..and we will grow regardless because of the moms who are using it and love it.  So, if you are a Swaddlou fan…please feel free to share an old post with a friend, chat about it with a co-worker, etc….YOU are the reason we will grow, and I am so appreciative. 🥰
