This birthday guy raises money for the Flagler Beach first responders. I think it’s so amazing to give back to such important people who save lives. This year it was for a fire department. There was live music and so many raffle baskets for the silent auction. It’s so great to see all of the businesses in the area and beyond come together to donate for this auction. I can’t say enough wonderful things about his wife, Anna Fox! She really is the sweetest. Happy 50th birthday Scott, you are such a blessing.

So I went to the watermelon fast at Riverwalk for a few minutes, it’s so hot outside. I really wanted to go meet Vanessa who owns Daytona Bakes and let me tell you that’s probably the best banana almond muffin I ever had. And her brown butter sea salt, peanut butter sourdough cookies were very very good. I like to be able to taste the ingredients and you definitely can taste hers. I really wanted to try the Matcha cinnamon roll with the watermelon icing (I think thats the name) but she was also sold out. Sold out of a lot of things.
