Horizons Greater Philadelphia is excited to welcome Jennifer Somerville as our Assistant Director of Advancement! She brings experience in fundraising and community engagement, along with a commitment to expanding opportunity for children and families. Jennifer will play a key role in strengthening our philanthropic partnerships, supporting grant initiatives, and helping us tell the story of the incredible work happening across our four sites.

May is Mental Health Awareness month! Horizons takes a holistic approach to education, recognizing that mental health is just as important as physical health. Our teachers participate in trauma informed professional development and have an SEL curriculum to use in their classroms. Our sites also have one or more counselors on staff to support students.
