A mother’s strength is powerful.
It holds families together, comforts little hearts, keeps going through exhaustion, and gives love even on the hardest days.

But strength does not mean mothers should have to pour from an empty cup.

Mothers need care too.
Rest too.
Support too.
Space to breathe, heal, and be poured into as well.

Because when a mother is cared for, she is not only surviving for everyone else, she has a chance to truly feel well, strong, and whole too. And that matters. 🤍

This is just sad 😑

You probably didn't know this, but hospitals in the United States actually charge new moms to hold their baby for a couple minutes after giving birth. A tiny moment of 'skin-to'skin' contact between mother and child costs more than many people earn in two or three hours of work. The healthcare system in the US is greedy and inhumane.
