The Storyteller Archetype is an informational, delightful driving force present in many of us that reaches out to something hardwired within our human natures; it is timeless, evolving, ageless, and arguably vital to the survival of our spiritual selves.
However, when it is in the shadow, it can be present in the form of lies and gossip.
If you’d like to conquer this Archetype, (you know the "shadow work" part} start by asking yourself – what lies did you tell yourself or another today? The Storyteller can have a fear of the truth and lying can become habitual. Furthermore, if you lie about anythingyou automatically lie to yourself about the really important things. The Storyteller is at the center of all your acts of self-betrayal; this Archetype can teach you that living your truth is the best way to live your destiny. The truth is not only the best story, it’s the only story you can accurately remember.
You can have many blessings with this archetype!
But..... all archetypes have a Shadow side also. However if this Child archetype becomes unbalanced, the child can become a depressed pessimist, no longer believing in the beauty of the world or in the fantastical and miraculous beings and occurrences which they once did.
This Magical, beautiful child that loved the fantasy world can can now be stuck in the Fantasy world as a depressed pessimist.
