What do you initially see when looking at this felled tree?

These aren't rods nailed into the tree, but in fact are branches, and probably branches of the younger version of itself. Considering they run all the way to the trees core!

While this is a weird place to make a cut, it is really helpful to see how branches are incorporated into the trees structure! 🌳

You can take kids and walk through nature…. You can bring arts and craft supplies and do them in nature…. You can also allow kids to simply “be” in nature and use the resources around them. This is the nature reconnection difference. When a child can sit in the dirt, and be creative with rocks and sticks you are getting closer to what is real. Imagination should start in nature with no manmade influences and develop from that foundation. 📸
