And, the Band Plays On!
A British Brass Band, playing Christmas Carols, that is... Saturday, 6th December, on the front lawn of Rose Tree Cottage. This very British event has been held every Christmas season for many a year in celebration of the holidays, hosted by Mary and Edmund.
In the tradition of Brass Bands in the North of England, Carols will be played by the 15 strong band, in festive attire for the season, while patrons are able to sing with song sheets featuring all the old favourites. To add to the festivities, Father Christmas (Santa) will also be there to listen to the desires of children of all ages, Edmund will be roasting chestnuts over an open fire on the lawn, hot cider will be served and a jolly good time will be had by all.
This opening event of the Christmas season will be held between 2:45 & 3:45 and is a free event.
Afternoon Tea will be held at 1:00 & 4:00 by reservation, taken on Saturday, Nov. 29. starting at 10:00.
