Stretch Performance

Nagging injuries don’t just show up…
They tend to stick around.
Not bad enough to stop you, but never fully gone.
Most people push through then or rest for a while and hope it fades so that it will get better.
It doesn’t have to be that way.
I actually presented on this at BNI, breaking down why these issues stick and what I can do to fix them.
The problem isn’t the workout, it’s how your body is moving.
That’s where targeted stretching comes in.
Open up the restriction…and everything starts to feel better again.
You don’t have to live with it. I can help you with it; it is what helped me, and I would be thrilled to help you!
A good friend of mine is a weightlifter.
I come from a bodybuilding background.
Two completely different ways of training the body.
Someone said we should arm wrestle to see who wins.
And yeah… I’d probably take it.
But that’s not really the point.
Because your body adapts to whatever you ask of it.
Power. Control. Tension. Speed.
It all depends on how you train.
For me, it’s not just about strength anymore.
It’s about how the body moves.
How it recovers.
How it stays capable.
That’s where stretching changes everything.
If you’re only training strength… you’re missing half the equation.
I’d rather have a body that lasts than one that just wins, and I would love to help you stay in top shape all around.

The body doesn’t always need heavy weights to get better.
It needs the right weight.
The kind that pushes you…
Challenges you…
Takes you a level deeper.
Because that’s when you find things you didn’t even know were there:
Muscles that get tight
Muscles you didn't know you had get sore
All of which may get overworked
If you ignore that?
It builds up.
That’s where stretching comes in.
Not as an afterthought, but as part of the process.
To release what’s tight,
Help your body recover,
And come back stronger the next time.
That’s why I do what I do.
Because strength is built in the work…
But longevity is built in how you take care of your body after.
Train hard, but make sure your body can keep up.

In order to understand the body…
You have to use it.
That means working out.
Paying attention.
Learning what your body holds and how it actually moves.
Because once you understand that… you start to see what others don’t.
Where they’re tight.
Where they’re limited.
Where they’re stuck.
That’s exactly why I do what I do.
I help people stretch, move better, and keep their bodies doing what they’re meant to do.
Not everyone knows what’s going on in their body
But that doesn’t mean they have to stay stuck there.
If your body’s been trying to tell you something… it might be time to listen, and if you need help, reach out. Let's have a session either in person or virtually.

We tested my reaction time the other day…
And it told me more than I expected.
Not just how fast I could react,
But how well my body could actually move
Because reaction time isn’t just mental.
If your body is tight, restricted, or out of sync…
There’s always going to be a delay.
It’s not about trying to be faster.
It’s about removing what’s slowing you down.
Better mobility.
Cleaner movement.
Faster response.
That’s where real performance comes from.

These are the same stretching methods Navy SEALs use to stay in fighting shape…
Yeah, those Navy SEALs.
Including one you’ve probably heard of: David Goggins.
But here’s the thing most people miss…
It’s not about pushing harder.
It’s about moving better.
At Stretch Performance, I work with proven methods designed to:
• Increase mobility
• Reduce pain
• Improve recovery
• Help your body actually perform the way it’s supposed to
Because if your body is tight, restricted, and out of alignment…
You’re already operating at a disadvantage.
The best in the world don’t ignore that.
They prioritize it.
So the real question is. Why aren’t you?
If you want to move, feel, and perform at a higher level…
It starts here. Let's talk about how I can help you or your team.

Every time I bring up stretching at BNI…
I can see it.
A few people lean in.
A few people look confused.
A few are thinking, “What does that have to do with business?”
Fair question.
But here’s the thing...
Stretching has nothing to do with flexibility…and everything to do with growth.
If you’re only operating where you’re comfortable, you’re probably staying in the same place.
The real shifts happen when you:
Have conversations you’re not used to
Get in rooms that challenge you
Go after opportunities that feel just out of reach
That’s stretching.
It can feel awkward at first.
But that’s usually the sign you’re onto something.
Every time I’ve stretched in business, it’s led to better connections, better clients,
and bigger opportunities.
So if something feels a little uncomfortable right now…
Good.
Lean into it.
That’s where things start to change.

There’s something about meeting Cleveland business owners that never gets old for me.
The grit. The pride. The way people here show up for their city is different.
So getting the chance to connect with someone like Bob DiBiasio from the Guardians?
That was a cool moment.
But what really stood out to me…
It’s a reminder of where things are heading.
Lately, I’ve been working with more clients in the sports space, and I’ll be honest, I love it.
The energy.
The pace.
The passion behind it all.
If I’m being real?
Landing a full team as a client, that’s the dream referral.
Not just for the business growth…
But because of the impact, the relationships, and the level it pushes everything to.
Funny how one conversation can reinforce the direction you’re already moving.
Cleveland connections just hit different.
If you’re in the sports world (or know someone who is), I’m always up for a conversation.

My path to understanding the body started with fencing… and bodybuilding.
Different disciplines, same lesson:
The body is mechanical.
It adapts.
It responds.
It transforms based on how you use it.
Once I understood that, everything changed.
I stopped guessing.
Started training with intention.
And I still lift today, because I’m still fascinated by what the body can do when you actually learn how it works.
I may not be Arnold, but I am happy where I am!

Most people say they love meeting new people.
But meeting people who genuinely inspire you?
That hits different.
It’s not just a conversation.
It’s not just small talk.
It’s the kind of interaction that shifts something.
The way you think
The way you see what’s possible
The standard you hold yourself to
You walk away sharper. More focused. More aware.
And sometimes… a little uncomfortable, in the best way.
Because inspiration has a way of exposing where you’re playing small.
That’s why I chase those rooms.
The ones with people who challenge me without even trying.
Not for status.
Not for networking points.
For growth.
Because the right conversation at the right time?
That can change everything.
So here’s a question:
When was the last time you met someone who made you think bigger?
For me it was Chef Andre Rush and Hany Rambod.
