Parma Basketball

Join us this summer for our annual youth boys basketball camp! Come learn skills from our coaches and players while also having some fun. We cannot wait to see everybody at camp.

On Monday night we celebrated our individual and team successes this past season at our yearly banquet. Thank you to those that were able to make it and congrats to all that received any honors or awards!

We would like to take the time today to say thank you to Parma Basketball greats Ryan Peabody and Nate Broz for coming to support us this year.

Parma Basketball History Time: On this day in 1956, Parma Redmen boys basketball claimed their first conference championship in school history after Shaw defeated Lakewood to move Parma into undisputed first place of the Lake Erie League. The 1956 Redmen were led by Bob Jarus, Bob King, Dick Rollins, Al Chonko, and Ron Courey. This team finished the regular season 11-4 overall and 7-3 in Lake Erie League play. Highlights of the season include victories over St. Edwards, Rhodes, Shaker, and a victory over Lakewood in front of 2,000 fans.
