Fourteen years ago, I completed 900 hours of esthetics education and entered this industry with passion, dedication, and a love for helping people feel beautiful and confident.

Back then, 900 hours earned me my regular esthetics license.

Years later, Nevada changed the requirements. Regular estheticians now need 600 hours, and Advanced Estheticians require 900. Despite already having completed 900 hours from the start, I found myself caught in a long back-and-forth process and ultimately having to return to school for an additional 300 hours just to qualify to test for a license that matched the education I had already earned.

That meant sacrificing an entire summer, paying thousands of dollars out of pocket, juggling work, life, and responsibilities, and slowly paying off schooling while continuing to show up for my clients and my career.

Was it frustrating? Absolutely.

Did I question the process? More than once.

But I refused to let the obstacle stop me.

Today, I’m incredibly proud to say I hold 1,200 total educational hours and am now one of the few Advanced Estheticians in Nevada with this level of education and experience.

This wasn’t handed to me. It wasn’t easy. It was earned.

Fourteen years behind the treatment table, 1,200 hours of education, countless sacrifices, and a commitment to always growing and advancing for the people who trust me with their skin.

This license is more than a title to me — it shows me that I never quit even when things got hard in my career.
