Last Tuesday I received a mystery package from my Aunt Annie. When I opened it, I found these bean pods!
I realize now that this sounds like the start of a fairytale, but I swear it’s true lol.
They’re dried pods from an ice cream bean tree. Again, sounds fake but it’s real.
They’re each like 8-10 inches long!
They’ve been sitting on my kitchen counter for several days as I ponder what to do with them.
This morning after the kids left for camp, I decided to see how many different shapes I could make from them on my kitchen table.
Here’s 9 of my favorite compositions.
I love buying new postage stamps, it’s so exciting to see what designs are going to have waiting for me.
Because sending a boring flag stamp just doesn’t feel celebratory enough for The Coastal Post!
