I know this is a little late, but oh well… lol!
From working as a Medical-Surgical Nurse in 2013, to becoming an Operating Room Nurse in 2015 in the Philippines, and now working as a Cardiovascular Operating Room Nurse here in the United States, I’ve realized how much growth, hard work, and learning this journey has taken. I’m truly grateful because I wouldn’t be where I am today without the people who supported and guided me along the way.
To my parents, thank you for supporting me throughout my education. Ma and Pa, salamat for all the sacrifices you made for me. I’ll always be grateful.
To all my co-workers and mentors who taught me everything from the basics to the most complex skills, thank you for your patience, guidance, and support. You all played a huge part in my journey.
And to all my fellow nurses out there, thank you for everything you do every single day. Happy Nurses Week to all of us! 💙
