Twisting is essential when you're pregnant. It helps stimulate digestion, better sleep and moves energy through your body. It's just how you do it that matters. As your beautiful belly grows, you want to keep your twist open and spacious. The key is to make sure you aren't doing deep, closed twists where the abdominal area is compressed.
Always listen to your body and honor where you're at today since everyday in pregnancy your body feels different.
Prenatal yoga series starts THIS Tuesday, August 25th at 6pm at Hillcrest in Fullerton. Drop ins are $15 (pre registration required)
