A quick recap of the first two days of VBS 2026. ❄️. From worship and Bible stories to games, crafts, and dinner together, it’s been a great start to the week.

We’re grateful for everyone serving behind the scenes and to everyone who prepared dinner for our staff and volunteers. Also thank you Sharon Vu Watari 🫶 for the delicious udon, and to dtn.tech for making our VBS shirts again this year. We appreciate your continued support over the past five years.

Dinner and a show... but with a twist with The Speakeasy Murder. 🔎

Instead of just watching the performance, you’re part of the mystery. The actors perform on stage, sing, dance, and move throughout the entire venue—from the stage to the bar and through the dining room. As the story unfolds, they reveal clues along the way before everyone makes their guess at the end. I thought I had the murderer figured out... I definitely did not. 😂

The 1920s speakeasy theme made it even more fun. We dressed up for the evening, and it really added to the experience. If you go, I’d recommend dressing up too—it makes the night even more memorable. It felt more like an immersive experience than just dinner because something was always happening around the room.

I can see why people come here for birthdays, anniversaries, date nights, or a night out with friends. It’s something different from the usual dinner plans, and everyone leaves talking about who they thought did it.

If you’ve been looking for a unique night out, I’d recommend adding this to your list and booking a reservation. It’s a fun experience to share with family or friends.
