We want to take a moment to highlight an organization that quietly does incredible work in our community: Stray to Spay🐾
As a tree service, we often encounter feral and stray cats living in woodpiles and brush. When those situations come up, responsible care matters—to the animals, to our crews, and to the surrounding neighborhoods.
Stray to Spay has stepped in for us more than once when other rescues were at capacity. They help us do the right thing: trap, neuter, vaccinate, and return cats humanely so populations don’t spiral and animals can live healthier lives.
They’re currently running a giveaway to support their work, and we’re sharing it because we’ve seen firsthand how much of a difference they make—often behind the scenes, often on their own time, always with care.
If you’re able to support or share their post, it truly helps.
📍 Omaha-based.

When you’ve worked with the same families for years, it stops feeling like a job — and starts feeling like showing up for a neighbor. 💞
One of our longtime customers reached out with a photo of a limb hanging on their roof. We know their yard. We know their trees. And most importantly — we know them.
So we were there the very next day.
Their neighbor sent us this sweet photo of her two boys watching from the window, totally captivated by the crew. Moments like this remind us why we do what we do.
At Marv’s Tree Service, we’re not just a company. We’re a family-owned business that’s been caring for Omaha’s trees — and the people who live beside them — for over 60 years.
We’re licensed arborists who know our stuff. But more than that, we care. About your safety. Your property. And the trust you place in us.
Because when you’ve trusted us year after year, that doesn’t go unnoticed — it means everything. 🌿

🦋🌱This is our annual reminder to bee kind 🐝 and leave habitat for all the little bugs and critters that have an important job to do! 🐛 🐞 🐜
The weather is beautiful this week, but resist the urge to clean up flower beds too soon! Leaves are not litter—they shelter life, including luna moth cocoons that overwinter beneath them. Take time to enjoy the weather and pick up any trash or debris that may have blown in, but keep the leaves in place to protect pollinators and beneficial insects. 🍂🦋
