We love supporting musicians…
And want to share some Free Advice on just a few steps can that positively impact your live music endeavors.
Maybe it helps, maybe you disagree…
But before we start…. How can We continue to support/promote your music ?
1. Enjoy!
You can be a perfectionist all you want, but just have fun. Sounds cliché, but we believe it needs to be said!
2. Be professional.
Even if you’re playing in the smallest, hole-in-the wall bar, be professional! You should always be on your A Game, even if the place is not of satisfactory.
3. Make connections.
In person. It’s a more personable connection that can last a lifetime. It will also be more meaningful to you. Musicians, booking agents, managers, fans, all of them! Also, social media.
4. Don’t Undersell Yourself.
You know your worth. Grow the relationships with the professionals that agree with you.
5. Tip Jar.
Please have a tip jar. We want to tip you. Make it easy for us. Make the tip jar something that creates attention. You can design all sorts of meaningful, funny, or just different tip jars, and I guarantee you’ll see more! And remind us to tip too.
