The Salvation Army Western Division is a great community resource!

We are opening multiple cooling centers in Omaha amid the forecasted 100-degree heat index today...to help provide respite to those in need.

Cooling centers offer air-conditioned spaces, cold bottled water, and places to charge electronic devices during specific operating hours. They’re typically activated during times of extremely hot temperatures. Anyone in need of relief from the heat is welcome to stop in. Cooling center hours will vary by location -- as listed here:

Heritage Place (3612 Cuming St)
8:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. Weds 6/10
North Corps (2401 Manderson St)
8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. Weds 6/10

We look forward to seeing you at the 2026 Omaha Art Fair, which will take place from Friday, June 12, to Sunday, June 14. The Omaha Farmers Market will be relocated to the Baxter Arena parking lot on Sunday. Three days of shopping, food, drinks, and live entertainment in Stinson Park. Kinkaider Brewing Co. - Omaha and Sonny's. We'll see you soon!
