Those that mention Jesus and his life, as well as Psalms and proverbs (witches use them for spell work, known as hoodoo) Many people are surprised to learn I still believe in Jesus and he is still a part of my spirit team even today. Christianity is not and I have left the "Christian Church." I believe in the golden rule first taught to me in Bible School. And that is simply to do on to others as you would like to have done unto you. This is directly what Jesus said, " Let he who is without sin cast the first stone." I also like how he performed miracles in which he helped feed people, bring people back from the dead, thought that the church was corrupt even then. He said ask and thou shalt know see and thou shalt find. He said if you needed to talk to him to go find a quiet spot in nature or your house and just speak to him and he would always be there. He was for the rich paying their taxes and was against the church. He said by my blood your sins are washed away. Nature in my opinion is my church. In nature you find all the things that require life to flourish; so the air and the wind is my breath, the sun and its warmth as I move my body is my fire, The water that's in my blood is the flow of my energy, and my body is made up of Earth and it will return to the earth after I die. And lastly my soul and the light within it is spirit. So we have in this the pentacle if it's inside of a circle or just a pentagram if it's without a circle. This literally is just a star that represents Earth, Spirit, Fire, Air, and Water. But I also believe that the divine spirit team that each person has looks differently and that we should not judge each other's spirit team. So I have picked up different deities along the way but I have not forgotten where I came from and what I took from that experience. Hecate is the goddess of witchcraft, necromancy, spirit realm, the otherworld, guardian of the underworld and queen of ghosts. She is the keeper of keys, torches, dogs, snakes and the crossroads. Aphrodite or Venus ( doesn't matter her name. She is the goddess of love, desire,Fertility, beauty, art, sex, pleasure and war and victory. Freya is the goddess of love, beauty, Fertility, war, death, gold magic. Queen of the Valkryies and had the gift of prophecy. Known as the queen of witches. The elements, the witch Sabbats, Nature and witchcraft.
