✨ Postpartum Series Part 3: The First 6 Weeks is now live on YouTube. ✨

I actually recorded this video last week, reflecting on those first six weeks after Atlas was born. This is how I remember it... though I’m sure I’m missing some details because mom brain is real, and honestly I was real hazy during those early weeks 😅. And also, last week was a hard week, so it was even hazier!
What I do remember is that our newborn bubble was magical 🪄

The golden hour after birth. Feeling so deeply cared for. Living in bed. Learning how to breastfeed. Crying. Healing. Falling in love with my baby. Experiencing the “sundown scaries.” And somehow simultaneously wanting time to slow down while also wondering how I would survive another night of fragmented sleep.

In this video, I share my reflections on:
🤍 The newborn bubble
🤍 Homebirth recovery
🤍 The golden hour
🤍 Staying in bed postpartum
🤍 Chinese medicine tools that supported my healing
🤍 Placenta encapsulation
🤍 Grieving the end of the newborn phase
🤍 The first six weeks of motherhood

If you’re pregnant, postpartum, or simply curious about what this season was like for me, I’d love for you to watch.

🎥 Click the YouTube link in my bio and select the Postpartum Series playlist, or head directly to my YouTube channel where you’ll find both the Pregnancy Series and the growing Postpartum Series.

And if you know a new mama who might feel a little less alone hearing an honest postpartum story, please share with her.

Postpartum Mamas:

I’ll wear your baby.

One of the biggest reasons new moms don’t come in for acupuncture is because they don’t know what to do with their baby during the appointment.

So here’s my solution:

Bring them.

As a new mom myself, I completely understand. If your baby is comfortable being held or worn, I’m happy to wear your baby during your treatment so you can rest, receive care, and maybe even close your eyes for a few minutes. You’re welcome to bring your preferred carrier, or I can use one of mine. Every baby is different, so we will do whatever is better for you both on the day (as we know that can change minute by minute!)

You deserve support too.

Postpartum acupuncture & Chinese Medicine can help with:
✨ postpartum blues & anxiety
✨ physical recovery after birth
✨ pain & body aches
✨ hemorrhoids
✨ clogged ducts & mastitis support
✨ digestive concerns
✨ hormone balance & cycle regulation
✨ fatigue & depletion
✨ overall postpartum healing

I can also provide support for babies through gentle acupressure recommendations and herbal medicine when appropriate.

The newborn phase asks so much of mothers. Sometimes the hardest part is remembering that your healing matters too. So if you’ve been thinking about booking an appointment but weren’t sure how to make it happen...

Bring your baby.

I’ll wear your baby. 💗✨
