Went down to Citrus County Speedway Saturday to help out the Right Foot Down Motorsports gang, and it was a tremendous night! Spent the majority of the day helping Daniel get his hot rod dialed in and then put on the headset to play spotter for Cody Struble.
Starting p12 it was going to be about patience and keeping the nose clean. By lap 35 Cody was challenging for the lead and once he got there and was able to get around Daniel, he never looked back and took home his first career UARA United Auto Racing Alliance Sportsman series win!
Super proud of this kid and what he’s been able to do in such a short time behind the wheel of a Sportsman car. He kicks our ass weekly on iRacing so I knew it would only be a matter of time 🤣 He’s a damn shoe.
Tremendous night overall for the whole RFD gang with Cody P1, Daniel P2 and Tim P4.
Never thought in my life I’d be saying this again but off to Orlando Speedworld next week! Stoked to see some racing at that place again.

Not a great day working on the car 😑
Since my lifting abilities are doctor limited currently, Cody Struble, fresh off an IMPRESSIVE P2 finish in the sportsman at the Freedom Factory, came and gave me a hand today on what we thought would be a simple project.
The plan was to pull the transmission, replace the clutch and flywheel as well as release bearing, and slam it back together.
Unfortunately upon pulling the transmission from the car and emptying 5 cans of brake clean on it to clean off the buildup of gunk, we found the case to be severely cracked in multiple places around the top two ears.
This was not a setback I was anticipating at all and is going to further deplete the racing budget.
The plan is STILL to try and push forward to make 5/9 at North Florida Speedway, but with the carb off being rebuilt and gone thru, the transmission now needing a new case and to be gone thru (since it already had an issue popping out of 2nd gear that I was going to willingly live with for now) and the bent rear end requiring straightening and replacement of the inner and outer seals that got trashed because of it being bent, on top of needing to re-do the nose and fix the right side body and left fender, it’s gonna be really tough to make it happen. I’m still hopeful, but also realistic.
I’m trying not to spend all of my racing budget for the year this early in the season.
Really deflated right now but we will keep digging and see what we can do.

This last race put a hurting on the ole girl and it’s really putting a dent in our 2026 racing budget.
If anyone in the Ocala or Lake City area wants to come on board as a sponsor for the season it would be a massive help to our small team!
We’ve been running really strong so far this season with two 3rd place finishes, a 6th and an 8th and want to keep running strong because I really believe a win is in our future.
If interested, shoot me a DM and let’s talk!
