These foster parent angels need our prayers and our support. Unfortunately we live in a society where blaming others for our actions , instead of taking responsibility, has become the norm. It has to stop!!!

If you’re blaming foster parents for “taking” your kids, you’re looking at the wrong people.

We don’t steal children.
We don’t shop for them.
We don’t sit around hoping someone else fails.

We answer a phone call.

A call that comes after hard lines have already been crossed.
A call that comes when a child is no longer safe.
A call that says someone has to show up right now.

Your kids weren’t taken by foster parents.
They were placed because something broke long before we ever entered the picture.

And here’s what people don’t want to talk about.

We are the ones praying you succeed.
Praying you get sober.
Praying you show up.
Praying you finish the classes.
Praying you choose differently this time.
Praying your kids get to go home.

We want reunification.
We want healing.
We want families restored.

But we will not be quiet when you aren’t doing enough.

Because silence doesn’t protect children.
Comfort doesn’t change outcomes.
And blaming foster parents won’t work your case plan.

Stop projecting.
Stop rewriting the story.
Start doing the work.

That work is hard.
It’s uncomfortable.
It requires humility, consistency, and choices that don’t feel good at first.

And listen,
this system is flawed.
It is not fair.
It does not always give people what they deserve.

But your kids are watching.
They are waiting.
And every day matters.

So if no one has said it clearly, let me say it now.

You can do this.
You can break the cycle.
You can choose differently.
You can fight for your kids the way they deserve.

Foster parents aren’t your enemy.
We’re the ones standing in the gap.
Caring for your kids while you do the work.
Praying for the day they get to go home.

But loving your kids means telling the truth.
And the truth is this…

I’m tired of this narrative.
And I believe you’re capable of more.
