Migrant workers who receive housing can be paid $2-$3 less per hour under new federal rule 04/30/2026

Migrant farmworkers in Colorado just got a pay cut. A new federal rule lets employers pay them $2-$3 less per hour if they provide housing.Farmworkers wages dropped from $17.84 to $15.16. Some workers didn't even know until they showed up to sign their contracts. Workers shouldn't lose pay for having a place to sleep.
