In addition, Intertek’s child development specialists use the ROC to study and observe children’s patterns of play to provide expert recommendations to toy and children’s product manufacturers regarding safety and injury prevention. Intertek’s specialists are trained in conducting naturalistic consumer observations, as well as facilitating appropriate consumer studies, including consumer trials and focus groups.
