🦈🚀 Day 6 of STEAM Week at Ponus Ridge was all about preparation, feedback, and confidence-building!

Today, students stepped into the spotlight as they practiced their presentations in front of peers, teachers, and special guest student judges from P-TECH High School. Through thoughtful feedback and constructive critiques, students refined their pitches, strengthened their presentations, and built the confidence needed to share their innovative ideas with an authentic audience. 🎤💡👏

From perfecting their sales pitch to showcasing how their prototypes solve real-world problems, students are making final adjustments as they prepare for tomorrow's Shark Tank-style presentations.

Tomorrow, students will present their projects to authentic audiences, including industry experts, district leaders, community members, and professionals who will evaluate their ideas and provide valuable feedback. 🌎🤝

🚀🔬 STEAM Week is almost here at Ponus!

Starting Tuesday, students will collaborate on custom STEAM projects focused on solving real-world challenges. Their work will culminate in a Shark Tank-style presentation where students pitch prototypes and business plans to an authentic audience of local business leaders and industry professionals. 💡📈

This year’s project themes include:

🌪️ Mitigating the Effects of Natural Disasters
♻️ Sustainability
On June 3, students will present their final prototypes to our panel of judges and receive valuable real-world feedback on their ideas and solutions.
