Tomorrow is the big day! 🏃‍♂️💙
A lot has led to this moment — early nights, early mornings, and countless “Sorry, I can’t, I’m running” and “Sorry, my feet hurt!” 😂 But here we are… and I’m ready. Ready to conquer the streets of NYC and have a blast doing it.

Before the run, I have to share my why.

I started running years ago in memory of my uncle Eduardo (E.M.). Toward the end of his life, he suddenly lost sensation in his legs. I was the one who drove him to the hospital; not realizing that would be his last car ride. I promised him I’d always move forward — to walk and run for when he couldn’t.

Last year, I lost my aunt Bianka (B.R.) tragically in the devastation at Jetset Nightclub in the Dominican Republic. She was pure light — full of energy, laughter, and love for life.

The two of them remind me to live every day to the fullest, with joy, gratitude, and a smile. Tomorrow, I run for them.

So if you see me crying out there… just know, 25% might be pain 😅 but 75% will be love, memories, and strength I carry for them.

It all started in January 2021 when we found out you were accepted into Smith College as a Posse Scholar! From your very first day to your last, you’ve been nothing short of extraordinary. Every moment was worth it—and you shined through it all! As this chapter closes, an even brighter future awaits you. I couldn’t be more proud to call you my little, my Kimba, and my twin. I promise to always be right by your side! Now - Go show the world how amazing you are!
