Our pack qualified and competed in several disc dog world finals events in 2012. Skyhoundz, AWI, and UFO. Huck and Moxie had placements in the top 3 with Kai's best finish being in the top ten. Moxie was in first place for freestyle at nearly every event but could not get enough points in TF to hold on to the lead. Keep an eye out for a blog post with details about our finals experiences.
It was an honor to have shared the field with so many talented teams from around the country and world. Thanks to our friends, disc dog community, and most of all, our dogs, who enrich our lives in so many ways.
Quick update on the DragonDogs - Andrea and Moxie look like world champions. Huck is really coming along. I'm working hard with Kai to build a strong routine, basic training with Fenix. And tweaking my routine with Lilli. We are anticipating a fun 2012!

Post USDDN, going to do a year in review and update the blog with the new member of the pack, Fenix. Also review the many lessons learned this year that might be helpful to disc doggers just getting started.
We've been really busy preparing and competing the past 60 days. Been a great year and enjoyed our time at Skyhoundz and AWI worlds. Finishing up the season at USDDN finals this weekend.

Missed USDDN and AWI this weekend. But we jammed with our dogs and watched the live and delayed broadcasts of both events.
Our first Skyhoundz event was awesome. The challenge of 5 discs and 90 seconds with a more demanding distance field make this event really fun. Lilli and I qualified for worlds finishing 3rd behind Lawrence and Mark.
A little disc dog drive building brilliance from melding of PVybe and a touch of Susan Garrett stuff. This is from a year+ ago when we were building drive for Kai.
