New year... new cat! Adopted from a friend's son on the promise that he's a good mouser - so far he has proven himself adept at enjoying head rubs, meandering around the house exploring (a.k.a. entertaining us), and drooling. Works for us. He'll earn his keep soon enough.

Other fun changes coming for the new year - including painting that spackled wall in the background - stay tuned!

Two years is tradition, right? Second year of temporary holiday tattoos with good friends... Three of the five of us recommend permanent tattoos, for the record. :)
