Enjoyed two events so far this week honoring and supporting our military. I walked with many others in the Memorial Day parade to honor our military men and women who gave their lives in defending our freedom. Last night I was proud to be a sponsor of a fund raising event for a veteran's organization that helps wounded and handicapped vets recover and enjoy outdoor experiences- Hoorah for Heroes. We raised $800 for that organization in a night of fun Music Bingo at Cheeks.

We should all want something to change after reviewing the tax assessment and our tax bills coming due. How much did your taxes increase?
Want change? Go Vote in November. End the Democratic control over our county and our state.

Meet Krystle Able’s hand picked replacement 03/14/2026

Voters will have a choice in November between someone who doesn't want to take more of your money and someone who believes the government should take more and more.
I stand for safety, prosperity for all and common sense. I don't stand for pouring your money into a ineffective, inefficient and costly wind turbines. My opponent, William Beesler is backed by Democrat Socialists so that should tell you a great deal about his principles of governing. Vote for Jerry Klinkner for District 4.

Enjoyed yesterday's Candidate Townhall where I shared my desire to serve this community. We need to ensure our taxes don't keep rising which discourages home ownership and raises our cost of living.
We also need to be sure our county sheriff's department has what it needs to keep our community safe.
The townhall was a good gathering of over 80 concerned voters in from across the county. If you would like to help me in my election work then you can email me at [email protected]

I am running for the District 4 County Board seat to serve my community by providing a voice of fiscal responsibility, maintaining a solid infrastructure and for law and order in McLean County.

Giving back to the community has always been very rewarding to me. I worked for 25 years for a Chicago hospital as a discharge planner. I am semi-retired but am serving still as a counselor in area nursing homes. I live with my lovely wife of 50 years, Wendy. We moved here 8 years ago. We are proud parents of three adult children and grandparents to seven amazing grandchildren. We have been long-time members of Vale Community Church volunteering in a variety of ways.

Adding unneeded services at the cost of raising taxes defeats a mission of affordability for all. I pledge to work to work for lower cost of living for everyone by finding ways to reduce property taxes and county fees.

I believe in supporting law and order and therefore supporting our police is a high priority. The county board working well with the county sheriff’s office is important.

I also believe our county government should serve its fundamental mission of ensuring safety for all our community. Making sure our roads and bridges are in good condition is a key role of the county board.

I look forward to connecting with voters in my district and listen to concerns. I truly want to be your voice on the county board.
