Friends 4 Friends

are holding our first annual Mental Health Awareness/ Suicide Prevention walk on April 15th, 2018. The mission of Friends 4 Friends is to create a campus where everyone has a friend to turn to for support. Friends 4 Friends advocates for mental health awareness by raising funds to improve the accessibility, quantity, and quality of mental health resources on the campus of UD. All funds raised will be allocated back into research and the University of Delaware in order to improve the counseling center (by reviewing current policies, developing interfaces for online appointment booking, etc.), create new coping alternatives (yoga, meditation, outdoor study lounge, etc.), and develop scholarship funds. We want to not only encourage students to "get help," but we want to show them how they can get help at UD.
