June 19th, 1865 marked the official end of slavery for Black people in the United States. And while today is a day to joyfully celebrate Black culture, creativity and community, it’s also a day of reflection. Juneteenth is a reminder that while Freedom is a goal, it’s also a journey. Inequity still exists. Some of us are more free than others, and we all have a part to play. So what are you doing to free someone else?
