Do you use braille?
At our recent Ask Me Anything for Blind Job Seekers, someone asked if braille is important in digital accessibility careers.
The answer? Not required... but for some testers, braille is a real advantage in accuracy and confidence.
Mary Beth, now a Senior Tester, shared:
“I use braille every day. It makes me more accurate when reading code, writing reports, and reviewing remediation steps.”

We love keeping it real... and helping you build a solid path forward.

How Blind People Start Careers In Digital Accessibility
Get your questions answered about interviews, hiring, applications, and resumes.
Get your questions answered about certifications, training programs, and work opportunities.
It doesn’t matter if you’re transitioning into HR, cybersecurity, or health care, launching your career in a new industry is difficult.
The job market is super competitive. And you’re also competing against people who aren’t blind, who don’t have disabilities, and who likely have years of working experience since they graduated college.
So if you’re thinking about starting a career in digital accessibility, you too will need to overcome these hurdles.
However, the first step is getting trained, getting certified, and then gaining the working experience to continue developing your technical skills and abilities.
If you’re serious about launching your career in digital accessibility, register for 1 or all of the events below.
