NYMF’s Student Leadership Program (SLP) gives the opportunity for emerging artists, composers and theatre managers to present their work to musical theatre fans and industry leaders. The event is ideal for musical theatre fans of all walks of life that enjoy new music by promising, up-and-coming composers. This year’s concert series marks NYMF’s third SLP concert, following its inaugural year’s success, PART OF IT ALL, hosted by composers Benj Pasek and Justin Paul for one show and Drew Gasparini for the next. Students involved in GRASSROOTS and TRAILBLAZERS hail from schools across the country, such as Columbia University, Pace University, New York University, Marymount Manhattan, Harvard University, and many more.
