🐾 Flipper 🐾

Flipper was born in a scrapyard in South Korea, where his mom (Oat) struggled to care for her litter before she was rescued. Thankfully, all of his siblings have since found loving homes... but Flipper is still waiting for his forever family. 💔 Oat has also been adopted, and is living in the States where we hope to bring Flipper once adopted!

Date of Birth: 19 October 2025 - (Approximately 9 months old)
Weight: 26 lbs

Flipper is currently in a boarding facility as we cannot find a foster for him in Korea. 😢So far, he’s been a happy, confident, and affectionate young boy. He’s loved meeting new people, enjoys exploring, and quickly forms strong bonds with those around him. He has also been gentle with children and friendly with strangers.

Flipper is very social with other dogs and enjoys playing, especially with medium to large dogs that match his energy. Having grown up around cats, he is also cat-friendly and respectful of his feline companions. 🐱

The boarding facility tells us he walks beautifully on a loose leash, travels calmly in the car, and isn't fazed by busy streets, loud noises, stairs, or elevators. He settles well when left alone, is reliable using both outdoor toilets and indoor p*e pads, and is comfortable spending time independently.

He has a great appetite, loves treats, enjoys being brushed, and is relaxed during grooming and veterinary visits. As a young dog, he hasn't had formal training yet, making him the perfect age to learn through positive reinforcement. He is a DREAM DOG. 🐶

This dog is a special one. I don’t know the last time we received so many messages about a single pup. But sweet Peanut is a SURVIVOR, honey! It was VERY touch and go for a while, overcoming so many obstacles and of course heart worm. Last week, he went back to the vets to receive a few shots for HW. This is usually where dogs unfortunately will not make it past. And we held our breath for a few days waiting to see how he’d do. Little man beat the odds and is doing really well. 🙏🏽Once Peanut recovers, he will be flying to his forever family in Chicago. We are so thankful to this Pom Community, we truly have the best one. And thank you to , a TB3 alum, a Pom mom, an amazing human being, who really wanted to be this guys final stop. Thank you all for messaging and caring about Peanut and this rescue. 🩵
We have just rescued 4 more Pomeranians from a horrible Korean slaughterhouse thanks to the help of our partner and will be posting more about them this week. Please continue to pray for all of our dogs that they always pull through and come out on the other side healthier. We never know what we are getting when we rescue dogs, so your good energy always helps!!!
