Are you closer to Jesus now than you were a year ago? A month ago? A week ago? Even yesterday?

Each day is an invitation to grow nearer to the Lord. Our lives are meant to be a continual journey of deepening our relationship with Christ, so that He can shape us, strengthen us, and work through us in new ways.

Like any relationship, love grows through time, attention, and presence. The more we spend time with Jesus, the more we come to know Him—and the more we open our hearts, the more grace He is able to pour into our lives.

Today, take a few moments to be with Him in prayer. Speak to Him simply and sincerely: “Jesus, I love You. Show me how to love You more.”
