Everywhere you look especially the social media world you see the exact same thing…

A bunch of people living the “dream”.
They wake up whenever they want.
They do whatever the f**k they want.
And they travel the world on a whim.

Especially those gurus who sell copywriting and marketing.

And as someone who is in this space, and on the occasion also showcases this lifestyle….

But also is about transparency…

It’s no wonder a subscriber reached out and asked:

“Whats the real day in a life looks like of a freelance copywriter.”

So I figured it would be a great way to show you what my day looks like.

If you couldn’t give two sh*ts, that’s fine, and I respect that and this post wouldn’t be of interest to you, so I will see you next time.

But if this is something you like to know, well then let’s get started.

This morning I woke up at 6.30AM.

This is very unusual for me as my usual time is 5 AM.

But because these two weeks are filled with travel, my body needs more sleep than usual.

The first thing I did was to go on a walk.

No matter where I am, what country or what part of the world I am a morning walk is always constant.

Because this is how my brain wakes up.

This is also when my brain connects the dots, and a lot of inspiration and writing ideas are born.

After that, I got back to my hotel room and went straight to work.

I copychiefied emails for my clients, wrote a couple of emails for another client, sent an invoice for a consultation call.

Then got ready and went for an appointment at 10 am.

At 11 I was back to my hotel room, ready to check out.

At 11:10 I bet with a friend, who’s one of the most brilliant, kindest, and genuine men I’ve ever met.

He’s also a self-made multi-millionaire and a very well-known name in the space.

We hung out for about an hour and a half before we both had to go.

Then I grabbed my stuff from the hotel and moved it to my friends place.

Right now, I’m at a coffee shop, writing these emails, and finishing up two upsells for a client.

I will stay here for another hour, two maximum.

And then I’ll spend the rest of the day with my bestie, chilling and hanging out, enjoying the beautiful weather here in Miami.

As you can see, today is a very chill day.

It’s not heavy on client work.

It’s very easy.

But that’s not every day.

When I first started out, I practiced, learned, read, and worked on clients' projects 12-14 hours a day.

And I did that for an entire year.

The second year, I only wrote emails for clients, nothing else.
I also only worked with 3 clients.

This means that I only worked for 2hrs a day, 3 days a week, and the rest of the time I traveled.

And it was great.

But then I realized that no matter how great life was, it was boring.

And not only I wanted more out of life, I knew I could be more.

So I entered the world of sales letter, offer creation and consulting.

Because of this, today I have days, weeks and months where I work on a few projects at a time…

Run my own offers…and do consultations because I love it…

And I barely leave my apartment.

And then sometimes I have days like today - just a couple hours of work and then just chill mode.

And the only reason is because right now is a transition period.

As I am literally on a stand by before one of the biggest projects of my live is about to kick off.

And once it does, my life will look totally different.

Which is precisely the reason for this email.

Social media is nothing but a glimpse into people’s live.

Every successful person I know…

And when I say successful I mean multi-millionaires, who literally have it all..

Not only did put a lot of effort into having the life they wanted.

They keep doing that day in and day out.

And they love it all.

So if you look around and see people “chilling” while “making money in their sleep.”

Please keep in mind, they are only showing you what you’d like to see.

And 99% of the time their lives look like IRL totally different than that.
