A senior center in Michigan converted its 65,000 gallon swimming pool to a saltwater pool, and everyone is pleased with the outcome. "The minute you walk into the pool area you notice a big difference," said the center's community relations director. "There is no longer that chemical smell.
One upgrade to consider adding to your pool is lighting, which can add an entirely new dimension to your pool at night. Consider low profile lights or landscaping lights to lend subtle illumination around the perimeter, or underwater lights for a beautiful glow.
