Had a great weekend fishing the Grand Haven Offshore Challenge this pass weekend. Day one we posted the biggest box of the tournament sticking to our program in some pretty rough water. Day 2 was a struggle for us to catch our larger trout and we ended up slipping to second place by a pound. Almost secured back to back championship wins, but came up a little short. We took first in the 333, won biggest fish and were blessed with a plaque in honor of Captain Willis ❤️. Big We**ie Brand rotators and flies were key to our success. Blood Run Fishing diver rods and wire kept us deep and hooked up. Church Tackle kept our boards running straight. Okuma Fishing USA reels and rods kept us tight! Fishing out of Muskegon is pretty good. 80-95 fow low light and then work out to 180-220. There are fish scattered between.
