A love letter to Pawleys Plantation Golf & Country Club.

Every time I pull into the parking lot, it feels like home.

I love how this golf course unfolds. The front nine slowly builds the anticipation, then the back nine opens up to some of the most breathtaking marsh views anywhere on the Grand Strand. The tide, the salt air, the changing light—it’s the kind of place that reminds you to look up and soak it all in.

The wildlife is everywhere. Egrets stalking the marsh, ospreys overhead, alligators sunning themselves along the banks. Every round feels connected to the landscape around it.

As a very amateur photographer, it’s one of my favorite places to shoot. No two sunsets are the same, and every turn seems to offer another postcard-worthy view.

But what makes this place truly special is the people. The crew out there genuinely loves what they do, and you can feel it. From the first hello to the last putt, there’s an authenticity that’s getting harder and harder to find.

Courses like this are why I’m grateful to call this place home.

Salt in the air. Marsh grass swaying in the breeze. A golf course built to be experienced, not rushed.

Pawleys Plantation will always have a special place in my heart. They have been so great to the brand!
