So I’ve lived here since 2010…and I’ve actively avoided the Ren Fair since then 😅😬

I was just too overwhelmed! It felt like a whole language I didn’t understand.

I don’t want you to feel that way, so after our visit this past weekend, I sat down and made a survival guide for you… For FREE 🥰

Ummm did you know Whiskey Bent has an upstairs???

I know, I know… you’re wondering why *I* the Queen of kid-friendly venues was on Broadway. Well… parents need fun too 😂💁‍♀️

Plus they just gave their third floor a MAJOR renovation, and it’s perfect for event rentals— think Christmas parties, birthday bashes, and corporate events. And I wouldn’t immediately rule out a family event either 💭🧐 (more on that later)

I got to see the renovations this week at their spring bash, and it was a BLAST! Each level of Whiskey Bent can have its own DJ, its own band, its own event. Plus, that third floor has a PRIVATE COURTYARD ACCESS right next to the Batman building (peep the view at the end here). ⭐️✨I totally thought of red carpet entrances when I saw it.

And get this—it’s not just for grown ups. I spoke to the GM, and they are open to renting the upstairs for graduation parties during weekdays or weeknights with accompanying parents. How cool would it be to have your graduation party on Broadway?!? 🤯

It’s clear they’re trying to create a space that works not only for tourists, but also for locals, networking events, celebrations, and private parties and I love that. This building is over one hundred years old, and I want to see it around or many more

I know this isn’t my typical Frecklefaced content, but many of our kids are getting older and also…parents need fun too 😂
