My name is Josh Floyd, and I am a recovering addict in long term recovery. Hopeshot Recovery was created in January of 2021 after a decision to pursue a life long dream of creating a stable and accountable environment for others to jump start their recovery process, just as an environment like this was available to me when I got clean and sober. In recovery, we often speak about the principle of perseverance. This is a program participant that is also my friend named Q. Within the last 3 weeks, he welcomed his first grandson, and then one week later, he lost one of his twin sons who was on the way to his senior prom in a tragic automobile accident. Not only had he not used, but he has been open and honest with his feelings, which helps him and others. This is the spiritual principle of perseverance.

We would like to congratulate Dale H. on 1 year of continuous clean time and sobriety. Dale came to us on a walker and unable to navigate steps. He now walks wherever he wants to go and is a blessing to the young men he meets in our program. Good job Dale!
