Appetite for Good

We are very excited to be managing a new food resiliency program for Mountain View restaurants. We have committed $120,000 for this program, and restaurants can qualify for $2,500-10,000 per restaurant. Like previous programs, restaurants receive a one time, upfront cash flow boost, and provide gift certificates for distribution through our nonprofit partners to families in need.

We are presently looking for help reaching restaurant owners and managers. Please share the good word!

Restaurants must express interest by October 26.

Appetite for Good is happy to return after a short hiatus with many new projects!

Our first is a limited time drive, ending on September 17, in support of Community Services Agency 's Treat Yourself event on September 25, a daylong event designed to provide a sense of well-being and belonging for its homeless clients. This amazing event aligns with A4G's goal to provide dignity and respect to those we support.

Your donations--in any amount--go to buying restaurant gift cards from recipient's most requested restaurants, Chef Chu's, Asian Box, and Los Portales.

Cascal Restaurant is today's featured partner!

Cascal is a downtown Mountain View destination, serving Spanish and Latin American-inspired food and drink for many years, and also hosting live music, filling Castro with Latin beats. Cascal has generously donated to Community Services Agency for many years. Help them by grabbing a meal to go or dine in for lunch or dinner (cascalrestaurant.com) and purchasing their vouchers to donate to those in need. (appetiteforgood.org).
