Commercial Structure Fire 8/7/24

At approximately 1930 hours ME 152 was dispatched to a reported commercial water flow alarm at 10660 Silicon Ave. in the city of Montclair. ME 152 arrived on scene and reported the fire sprinkler system was activated and smoke showing from a single-story commercial building. ME 152 upgraded the assignment to a first alarm commercial response. Assistance was provided from AMR ambulance, Chino Valley, fire district, Ontario, fire department, and LA County fire. Crews made an aggressive attack on the fire achieving knockdown within minutes. Fire was confined to the room of origin with no other fire damage reported. No civilian or firefighter injuries were reported. Local utility companies were dispatched to the scene to ensure the building was deemed safe. Cause is under investigation.
