We are interested in exploring what it means to be a Xicanx/Latinx in the Central Valley. What are our struggles? What brought us to the area? How is our identity tied to the land and our experiences here? What do art and beauty mean/look like in our own image? We are most interested in challenging any idea of a monolithic culture; we exist in nuance, in hope, in dreams, in variance. We hope to document our experiences and roles in this place where we are often overlooked. Existimos.
