Somewhere along the way, we stopped treating singing, dancing, painting, and storytelling as things humans just do. Instead, they became “talents”, measured, graded, performed only if you’re “good at it.”

But our ancestors didn’t sing around the fire to win approval, they sang because the night was long and the voices made it warmer. They didn’t carve patterns or dance in circles to impress, but because those things made them feel alive and connected.
Not everything we do needs to be perfected. Some things just need to be done, the way rivers run and birds call at dawn.
