It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Diamond Jallah, a former LDEA Officer who was battling Kidney Failure for months.

Thanks to all those who contributed to her health crisis but sadly she’s gone to be with her maker. Our deepest condolences to the bereaved family 💐😭💔

Wow! It has been confirmed by The Money Empire that the King of Gbema, Kzeebigname who is currently based in Australia will serve as one of the guest performing artists at Christoph The Change July 26 concert.

If you’ve been following Liberian entertainment since the civil war, or if you know songs like “Spoil You With Love,” “Come Dance With Me,” “Frisky Tata,” “Da Who Say,” “Chicken Saloma,” “Your Pastor Know,” and “Kakalaka,” then you already know Kzee is a pioneer in the industry.

The man has over 20 songs that can entertain fans for more than 3 hours straight. Just imagine him performing alongside Christoph what an experience that will be!

Christoph The Change And now July is here, the month to make history for our industry. It’s been a long time coming for a Liberian artist to host a successful concert at SKD. We’ve done it for foreign artists, and I'm with the conviction that Christoph and every Liberian entertainer can make this happen. Be it the Comedians, influencers, DJs, bloggers, journalists, fans, and my fellow artists, it's time to rise and come together for our culture. In case you’re wondering what happened between CIC and JZyNo, let me explain it and you can judge who’s at fault.

1. As we all know, CIC and JZyNo were once good friends until JZyNo publicly criticized the industry and his fellow artists.

2. Fast forward to 2023: JZyNo successfully featured Lasmid on “Butter My Bread.” Lasmid verse trended, giving JZyNo more exposure since he owns the song.

3. I remember when JZyNo had an interview in Ghana, where he criticized the Liberian industry out of pride, especially after Liberians started praising his hit song.

4. In response, CIC weighed in advising JZyNo to stay in his lane and make the most of the favor God has blessed him with. He urged him, as a big brother, to avoid speaking on things he doesn’t fully understand.

5. Following CIC response, JZyNo fans sparked controversy and began shading CIC impact in the industry. Shockingly, JZyNo seemed to accept and fuel the tension.

6. Fast forward to 2024: the beef started to heat up again. During an interview in Liberia, JZyNo openly said he “cannot speak to CIC” due to their public rivalry.

7. Keep in mind, JZyNo and CIC had already been on bad terms privately, but when JZyNo made that statement on-air, it confirmed the tension was real.

8.The issue of the “001” title came up when fans started comparing JZyNo to CIC. In response, JZyNo declared himself the only global artist from Liberia the only international artist, and the only one to have featured big names.

9. He later came online and declared himself “the Oracle” of the industry, implying he is like a god in Liberian music.

Former Foreign Minister Dee-Maxwell Kemayah, Mary Broh, and Henry O. Williams have been sent to South Beach Prison. They’re accused of stealing over 29,000 bags of rice donated by Saudi Arabia for disaster victims. The rice, valued at more than $425,000, was allegedly diverted for personal and political use. Kemayah appeared in court today, was denied bail and was taken to the Monrovia Central Prison.
