She doesnt exist or create to conform to the norm but has been known to bring the best of covers and originals. Liz Westplate has been known to be the queen of goosebumps and a breath of fresh air in the world of acoustic indie-rock. With her rebellious attitude and thirst for originality, she broke free from the strict rules of classical music and found herself completely immersed in agonizingly
honest lyrics, haunting sound and melodies you won't be able to ignore. Previously known as Liz Squires in the Minneapolis scene, she came up with a new name, a new understanding for the direction she wanted to take and a new way of collaborating with like minded artists. Justin Westplate came from similar backgrounds that brought him into the indie-rock-metal scene. As one of the most versatile drummers in the industry, his original style of percussion can go anywhere from accompanying an acoustic jam, to setting up the full kit for shows in the cities. His energy and passion for dynamics really making or breaking a song is something that is so refreshing to experience. He's completely in his element adding his flare and artistry in absolutely complimentary ways. While they've both have had their own bands, projects and musical endeavors, it became clear after falling in love in a small town jam setting that no matter what they always wanted to play together. Liz has been used to accompanying herself with piano or guitar and been involved as a solo artist for multiple years now while Justin rocked the worlds socks off in multiple bands. It wasn't until the world shut down during the pandemic that they really decided to come together and create their own artistic renditions of covers ranging from rock and roll, soul, country, pop, indie, folk to our very own originals. We hope we can collectively spread the love of live music anywhere you would want to have us. :)
