TML
TML makes music to match his DJ sets – a rhythmic collision of acid, electro and the darkest corners of the hardcore continuum. Honed over more than a decade of gigs, this unique sound has led him to release for Scuba’s Hotflush Recordings, curate the well-loved Always Human Tapes label, and establish a monthly residency on Noods Radio in Bristol.

New mix up for Research & Development!
My first studio mix of new tracks in a bit, recorded live in one take, as usual, with lots of weird summer party vibes. Having grown up in the Chicago area, this one means a lot. Big thanks to the crew for having me. Listen now on their Soundcloud 🚀 🔊🌌
TML has been a vital force in the Midwest electronic music scene for nearly two decades, defying easy categorization while pushing an evolving, boundary-pushing sound.
Growing up in the northern suburbs of Chicago, TML (aka Peter Lansky) would journey into the city to immerse himself in underground culture at illicit loft parties and venues like the Fireside Bowl and Metro/Smart Bar. Inspired, he moved to Minneapolis and swiftly kicked off a residency at the iconic First Avenue nightclub. Running weekly over the course of eight years, the Too Much Love party brought together diverse local acts and international names, won nightlife awards, and cemented his reputation as a curator of unique sounds and killer parties.
After ending his weekly residency, Lansky began releasing his own music. TML’s productions closely mirror his genre-crossing DJ sets—a functional, rhythmic collision of acid, electro, and the darker corners of the hardcore continuum. Releases on Scuba’s Hotflush Recordings and his co-owned Always Human Tapes label highlight a blend of raw energy and lived-in sound design.
TML can be found pushing this idiosyncratic approach across discerning corners of the underground. He excavates new sonic spaces on a long-running monthly show for Bristol’s Noods Radio and as a resident DJ for acme. collective's infamous basement parties. Whether headlining Midwest raves or clubs from New York to Berlin, performing live, or featuring on iconic mix series like Tim Sweeney’s Beats In Space, TML continues a midwestern legacy of speaker shaking electronic music, championing the weird and wonderful sounds that make dark dance floors transcendent.
