The effects of Covid-19 reach far beyond the virus itself. The emotional and physical toll of global uncertainty is felt by all. Individuals suffering from anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorders, and so many others are struggling to find peace of mind and stability in the face of this pandemic.

Last week we donated Wash20 hand soaps to all residents of the Touchstone Mental Health Snelling Ave. Facilities, a Minneapolis based company that’s been serving Minnesotans for over three decades. Their mission is to provide innovative, person-centered services that foster hope, health and well-being through community based living and programs.

Meet Scott! He’s the Facilities Manager at the Brooklyn Park facility. Second Harvest is currently operating on a skeleton crew, yet they remain hard at work providing tens of thousands of emergency food boxes and prepared meals every week for families facing hunger due to missed work, illness, or other hardships during the COVID-19 crisis.

Our tiny delivery prius was very humbled to be in the receiving bay of the Second Harvest warehouse! As meals are made, hands are washed, and Wash20 wanted to help.
